A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Winchester is looking to appoint a Full-Time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) starting this September 2025. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Speech & Language difficulties, helping them engage confidently in the classroom and beyond. A permanent contract will be available following a successful probation period. Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN and speech & language challenges. Assist teaching staff in adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs. Encourage and model effective communication and social interaction. Monitor student progress and support personalised learning strategies. Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment and support classroom behaviour management.
