Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities include:
* Working as part of the assembly team to produce LRUs to the daily going rate.
* Re-work of circuit boards to IPC7711/7721 standard, involving removal and replacement of surface mount components.
* Repair and processing of LRUs through troubleshooting, ensuring correct use of in-house systems.
* Use of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for product testing.
* Tracking repairs and updating electronic systems accurately.
* Ensuring assemblies meet quality standards and consulting supervisors or Manufacturing Engineers as needed.
* Collaborating with other cell members using lean manufacturing techniques and participating in lean activities.
* Maintaining housekeeping using 5S+1 techniques.
* Adhering to IPC610 cat C standards for work in progress quality levels.
* Updating Work in Progress and output TAKT boards, recording figures daily.
Candidate Requirements
Ideal candidates will have:
* Experience maintaining soldering standards.
* Broad knowledge of re-work techniques for surface mounts and through-hole components, including circuit board re-work experience.
