The Role
You will conduct claims and litigation on behalf of solicitors, represent and advocate for members before tribunals, courts, hearings, and regulatory bodies, and provide legal advice and guidance to colleagues on issues affecting teachers. You will also contribute to staff and member training and prepare written documents, articles, and resources on legal matters.
The Candidate
Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with proven expertise in employment law, regulatory proceedings, and advocacy. Demonstrable experience in case management and litigation, with strong advocacy before courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies. Ability to provide clear, practical advice to colleagues and members, and excellent drafting and communication skills.
The Package
Competitive salary, 35 days of annual leave (pro rata), and blended working with 3:4 days in the office and the remainder from home, subject to business needs.
