Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science ECT to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Career Teacher looking to begin their teaching career in a school that places strong emphasis on mentoring, professional development, and staff wellbeing.

The school is experienced in supporting ECTs and offers a structured induction programme, reduced timetable where appropriate, and ongoing guidance to help you grow in confidence and classroom practice.

The Role

* Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4

* Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons with clear learning outcomes

* Developing strong classroom routines and positive behaviour management

* Supporting practical science lessons with a focus on safety and understanding

* Assessing pupil progress and using feedback to inform teaching

* Working closely with experienced colleagues within a collaborative Science department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or be due to qualify as an ECT

* A degree in a Science-related subject

* The ability to teach general Science across KS3 and KS4

* A positive, reflective approach to teaching and learning

* Willingness to learn, take feedback on board, and develop professionally

* Strong communication skills and a commitment to pupil progress
