Anexciting opportunity has arisen to manage our Inpatient Unit. This is adiverse role and ideally you will have experience of leading and managing apalliative inpatient unit setting.
Main duties of the job
Your remit will be to lead the nursing team in clinical practice to provide safe, quality, patient focused care and drive forward the highest standards of palliative care service provision. Therefore, you will be able to demonstrate excellent management and interpersonal skills that will enable you to challenge, motivate, influence and inspire their colleagues at all levels.

St Barnabas House Hospice is a consultant-led team of doctors, nurses and other professionals who provide expert care and support for local people with terminal or life-limiting illnesses and their families, in the hospice and at home. 1. * NMC Level 1 Registration and to be maintained
2. * Degree Level Qualification or equivalent experience
3. * Palliative Care Qualification/specialist professional knowledge
4. * Evidence of continued personal and professional development

5. * Proven post registration experience with extensive experience of working within palliative care
6. * Proven experience of line management/supervision of employees, demonstrating effective management skills in managing and developing individuals and teams including undertaking appraisals and supervision
7. * Demonstrable experience of working in an inpatient care setting
8. * Demonstrable experience of managing change successfully
9. * Demonstrable experience of effective team working within a multidisciplinary team
10. * Demonstrable experience of problem solving approaches
