Ideal for someone looking for work to work around a 9-5 or school/education 7 hours to begin with while the individual you will be assisting becomes better acquainted with you. We will be looking to add additional hours to this once better acquainted. 5pm-8.30pm one or two Friday evenings a month, with additional hours available on weekdays or weekends during the day (9/9.30am-2pm) Your role as a PA will be to supervise my son within the home, maintaining his safety, providing support and befriending him. It will be your responsibility to ensure that he is cared for within this environment and that he does not come into danger. It is not necessary for you to administer any medication, this will always be done before or after your time with him. We are looking for someone with experience working with autistic children and/or adults. It is essential that you have an up-to-date DBS and first aid certificate. You must be a non-smoker; we cannot accommodate those who smoke or wish to smoke outside of the premises. Applicants must be female, as my son will not tolerate men outside of the family unit, within his home environment. We understand and appreciate that age does not always amount to experience or knowledge, therefore we encourage applicants age 21 years and over.
