Job Description
3. Inspect and assess council-owned land, buildings, and community assets
4. Provide valuations using appropriate methods and market comparisons
5. Maintain accurate asset registers and records
6. Prepare reports for financial statements, budgets, and asset management plans
7. Ensure compliance with RICS standards and legislation
8. Advise councillors on disposals, acquisitions, leases, and redevelopment opportunities
The Successful Applicant
9. Professional qualifications in property management or a related field.
10. Strong knowledge of property legislation and standards within the public sector.
11. Proven experience in managing property portfolios and projects.
12. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
13. Competence in preparing professional reports and documentation.
14. Capability to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines.
