The Research & Innovation department works collaboratively with the South Central Regional Research Delivery Network to deliver and promote National Portfolio studies supported by the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR). The department hosts commercial and non commercial as well as student/staff studies within varied specialties and themes.
This administrative role is to support the day to day running of research projects at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. The post holder is expected to work independently and manage their own workload.
Main duties of the job
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Research Facilitator to join the successful research team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.
The successful applicant will join the research governance team in facilitating and overseeing high quality research.
The role requires attention to detail, organisational skills, the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, and have good communication skills.
Previous experience is not essential as training will be given.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING eg Education, professional qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Good standard of education to GCSE including English/maths; Good command of the English Language
2. Computer literacy, and IT skills
EXPERIENCE eg Breadth of occupational experience

3. Experience in managing complex information
4. Competent in storing and retrieving electronic data
5. Research experience or relevant clinical experience
Desirable criteria
6. Experience working in a patient environment
7. Experience of working autonomously and as part of a team
8. Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice

9. Ability to manage a varied and busy workload
