Senior Buyer – Procurement with Purpose! (FTC 12 Months)

What you’ll be doing:
* Shape the future: Develop sourcing strategies for business-as-usual and exciting projects.
* Lead the way: Present your strategies to key decision-makers and make your mark.
* Run the show: Manage multiple tenders like a pro, ensuring compliance with PCR 2015 and Procurement Act 2023.
* Know the market: Organize engagement activities and bring back insights that give us the edge.
* Be the glue: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
* Keep us on track: Chair tender assessment teams, issue purchase orders, and support contract management.
* Champion improvement: Spot opportunities to make things better and help us evolve.
* Represent NTS: Be our voice at forums and ensure our processes shine.
* Live our values: Transparency, cooperation, continuous learning, and delivering on commitments.
What makes you awesome:
* Qualified and curious: CIPS Level 5 (or ready to achieve it within 12 months).
* Experienced: You’ve run compliant tenders, negotiated with suppliers, and worked under pressure.
* Knowledgeable: You understand Public Contracts Regulations, Procurement Act 2023, and Contract Law.
* Tech-savvy: Comfortable with systems like Atamis and Sage (or quick to learn).
* Driven and adaptable: You thrive on making decisions, managing priorities, and bringing energy to everything you do.
* You’ll be part of a transformational journey—moving to Category Management and embracing new tech.
* You’ll help shape a function that’s becoming a strategic enabler for NTS.
* You’ll work in a culture that values freedom to perform, helpfulness, and innovation.
