Main tasks: • Management and operation of a range of mixed portfolio estates throughout North and West Yorkshire including the provision of strategic advice to farm and estate clients. • Consultancy work for estate and private clients may include lease and letting, sales and purchasing, woodland management, grants and subsidies. • Opportunity to grow your own portfolio with the ability to win work from business development activity. • Working with the Partners to expand the team by identifying and developing viable business development opportunities. • Working closely with other specialist teams including planning and development, valuation, energy and infrastructure, agency and natural capital to deliver and develop new fee opportunities from existing and new clients. • Actively participating in the development and implementation of efficient, ‘best practice’ internal systems and processes optimising IT and other resources. • Implement policy as required and ensure legal, professional, and corporate compliance on all work carried out. • Assisting with pitch reporting and presentations. What will it take to be successful? You will be a chartered surveyor who has a successful track record in delivering excellent rural professional and estate management services and experience in developing relationships with existing and potential clients. We are looking for enthusiasm, integrity and a can-do attitude; someone who has the ability to manage multiple projects and deal with a variety of work. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, where you will need to be flexible in your approach and contribute to a supportive and collaborative team. You will be prepared to participate in managing and developing other team members, while actively seeking out continuous self-development.
