Housing 21 is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Property Surveyor to join our Asset Management team. This is a full-time, mobile role covering Staffordshire and surrounding areas, with a unique nine-day fortnight work pattern.
About the Role:
As a Property Surveyor, you will provide essential professional surveying and technical support, contributing to the effective delivery of Housing21's Asset Management strategy. You will be responsible for providing technical services that ensure Capital Investment, Fire Safety, HHSRS and Stock Condition in line with Decent Homes Standards and industry legislation.
Salary and Progression:
The salary for a Property Surveyor is in the band of £50,401 - £54,829 per annum. There's a clear 12-to-18-month progression plan to becoming a Building Surveyor, with a pay of £62,295 per annum once you achieve this.

What we’re looking for
The essential requirements for the role include:
* Experience in a surveying role in a housing association, private practice, local authority, or similar.
* Experience of contract administration responsibilities in a range of major works projects, including preparing tender documentation, cost analysis and budgetary control, site management, supervising contractors, quality control and certification
* A good understanding of current health and safety legislation, CDM (including Principal Designer experience) and comprehensive knowledge of other building related statutory obligations
* Knowledge and experience of Building Safety and Compliance good practice and statutory requirements
* HND qualification in a building surveying related subject
