People Services Officer (Part-time)
* Salary £23,277 per annum plus additional benefits.
* 26 hours per week.
* (Full time Salary Equivalent £33,054)
* Home-based with occasional travel.
* Permanent Role.

The role & what you take care of:
As a dedicated People Services Officer, you will be committed to ensuring that the outcomes of your work adhere to established processes, while maintaining fairness and consistency. By cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, you will enhance collaboration and drive progress. You will continuously strive to improve existing systems, making them more efficient and advantageous for all involved. Your positive attitude and exemplary conduct will serve as an inspiration to your colleagues, setting a standard for professional excellence. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Processing all aspects of the monthly payroll, including sick pay, pensions, overtime and expenses.
* Reports, annual returns & other ad-hoc requests for complex information related to pay, pensions and other benefits.
* Reviewing and developing systems and processes to ensure they are efficient and fit for purpose.
* Ensuring your work is compliant with Magna's policies, procedures and processes, as well as legislation and best practice. A full Role Profile is attached to this advert.
What you need to be successful:
* Excellent numerical skills that you can apply confidently.
* Aptitude for analysing and interpreting complex numerical data.
* Experience of working in a People or Payroll team.
* Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience of using People/Payroll software, preferably Cascade.
* Initiative to review information & make decisions.
* Able to explain complicated concepts in simple terms.
* Works flexibly and prioritises in the face of constantly changing & competing demands.
