A high-end, London based interiors brand is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their growing team based in central London. You’ll lead and develop a committed, high performing sales team, as well as overseeing sales, sales operations and reporting. You will work closely with senior leaders across the business to shape commercial strategy and long term growth.
This iconic brand already has a huge network of committed clients (D2C, interior designers, architects) with significant potential to grow their reach further. This role would suit a commercially astute, people focused sales leader who understands the nuances of luxury interiors, considered purchases and long cycle sales environments, and who thrives in a quality led, creative business.
What you’ll be doing:
Leadership
* Lead, mentor and develop the sales team with clear performance expectations and goals
* Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews and ongoing coaching
* Oversee onboarding, holiday planning and rota management
* Support the team in building long-term customer relationships through thoughtful follow-up and tailored proposals
Sales Performance & Strategy
* Work closely with senior leadership to build and deliver annual and quarterly sales plans
* Own sales forecasting, KPIs and performance reporting across weekly, monthly and quarterly cycles
* Collaborate cross functionally on growth opportunities across retail, trade and wholesale channels
* Develop customer outreach initiatives including events, tailored campaigns and personalised proposals
* Partner with marketing on campaigns, launches and targeted outreach activity
* Contribute to the overall sales revenue by utilising your person network and business-generated leads, setting the standard for the wider team
Customer Experience & Brand Standards
* Ensure exceptional customer experience is central to all sales and service interactions
* Maintain high standards across aftercare and service processes
Sales Operations
* Maintain and refine sales processes and SOPs to ensure consistency and accuracy
* Drive optimisation of CRM and ERP systems to improve data quality and reporting
* Oversee accuracy of sales orders, margin reporting and bespoke project workflows
* Work closely with operations, production and logistics teams to streamline end-to-end processes
What you’ll bring:
* Proven experience leading a sales team within premium design, luxury goods, interiors or a related sector – if you have taken a mentorship role and looking to step up to be a Sales Manager then this will also be considered
* Experience managing international sales would be ideal, ideally including the US market
* Strong commercial and financial acumen with confidence managing forecasts and reporting
* Deep understanding of high-end customer service and long-cycle sales processes
* Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines
* Confident, empathetic people manager with excellent leadership skills
* Data driven and analytical, with the ability to turn insight into action
* Strong communicator, able to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
* Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach in a creative, quality-led environment
