About the Role
As a Sustainability Consultant at ERS, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of sustainability and Building Regulations assessments across the built environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out SAP & SBEM assessments for both new and existing developments
* Produce Energy & Sustainability Statements for planning & compliance
* Perform Dynamic Thermal Modelling to assess overheating & thermal comfort
* Carry out daylight assessments
* Undertake building surveys for EPCs, Energy audits, U‑Value calculations and PSI value calculations
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree qualified (or higher) in Engineering, Architecture, or a Built Environment discipline
* Experience working with SAP or SBEM for compliance. At least 2 years prior experience in Sustainability
* Experience in producing Energy & Sustainability statements for planning applications
* Strong knowledge of CAD & IES or similar modelling software is essential
* Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
* Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently
* A proactive, personable, and motivated individual with a flexible and resilient approach
* Attending, organising & chairing meetings with wider project design team
* Assist junior staff members
