This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering high-value projects across a diverse property portfolio, supporting strategic transformation, and strengthening project performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the PMO function, establishing and maintaining project governance, standards, and reporting frameworks.
* Oversee a substantial CAPEX portfolio, ensuring effective planning, tracking, budgeting, and risk management across major development and refurbishment projects.
* Provide strategic oversight of project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budgets, and timelines.
* Develop and manage PMO tools, templates, and processes to drive consistency and best practice across the project lifecycle.
* Challenge and support project managers in their delivery approach, ensuring strong control, transparency, and performance.
* Produce high-quality executive reporting, including dashboards, financial summaries, progress updates, and risk assessments.
* Lead governance forums, ensuring issues, dependencies, and risks are clearly communicated and escalated appropriately.
* Partner with Finance and Asset Management teams to track CAPEX spend, forecasts, and financial compliance.
* Support portfolio-level decision making, enabling data-driven prioritisation and investment planning.
About You
You will be a great fit if you bring:
* Proven PMO leadership experience, ideally within real estate, property development, construction, or a related built‑environment sector.
* Strong and demonstrable CAPEX management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial governance.
* Excellent understanding of project delivery methodologies, risk management, and change control.
* Experience supporting large-scale development, refurbishment, or asset improvement programmes.
* Strong analytical, organisational, and reporting skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
* Confident communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior leadership and project teams.
* A proactive mindset with a drive for excellence, continuous improvement, and operational discipline.
