We are currently working with a UK Wide Recovery Business who are seeking Roadside Vehicle Technicians to join their team.
* Location: Preston
* Salary: £35,000 basic, with OTE of up to £60,000 per annum
* Working Hours: 40 hours per week – availability required between 6am and midnight (no more than 50% of weekends per year; if you work a weekend, you work the full weekend)
This is an excellent opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to bolster their experience without the humdrum of working in a garage environment. The working day for the Roadside Vehicle Technician will start from the moment you leave your own driveway and end when you return, meaning you get paid for your daily commute!

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver expert roadside mechanical repair and diagnostics
* Respond to breakdowns efficiently, providing safe and effective roadside solutions
* Diagnose faults on various vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools
* Carry out emergency repairs including battery, tyre, and minor mechanical fixes
* Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to deliver first-class service
* Work independently and make confident, effective decisions on the roadside
What is needed:
* Qualified to Level 2 or above in Light Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
* Strong technical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
* A customer-focused approach and excellent communication abilities
* Full UK driving licence
* Confidence working under pressure and adapting to varied challenges
