About the role
The Venue Cleaning Shift Manager will be responsible for the smooth delivery of the cleaning shift of our public areas and entertainment venues across the resort.
Reporting to the Venue Cleaning Manager, the Accommodation & Cleaning Shift Manager will ensure daily operational plans are fulfilled by ensuring that relevant tasks and objectives are being carried out by the team and that the team are in the right place at the right time to ensure we can manage fluctuating guest demand whilst maintaining high operational standards and guest experience.
Leading and monitoring team members who clean our entertainment venues after shows, all toilet facilities across the resort, moving and resetting venue furniture, and working at heights for high-level cleaning using industrial equipment for indoor and outdoor requirements.
You will support and coach the team to deliver a great experience and drive key metrics related to our Clean and Fault Free (CAFF) approach, holding the team accountable to meet standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure delivery of cleaning standards while improving Guest and Employee NPS.
* Conduct quality control checks and lead feedback conversations.
* Manage the execution of the RPRPRT strategy.
* Oversee a 40-hour weekly schedule, including late shifts from 5.30pm to 2am, over 5 days in 7, including weekends.
* Monitor NPS scores and guest complaints, taking proactive steps for improvement.
* Conduct online quality control checks, analyze reports, and lead feedback discussions.
* Ensure team training and support, including onboarding and full employee lifecycle management.
* Set objectives and PDPs, support team surveys, and uphold health and safety standards.
* Manage operational knowledge with a focus on high standards, flexibility, and communication skills.
About You
Extensive operational knowledge in managing a cleaning or soft services team, with the ability to juggle priorities and adapt quickly. High standards, attention to detail, and experience leading teams are essential. Flexibility, excellent communication, and proactive problem-solving skills are required.
