- Accountable for Time, Cost and Quality.
- With a focus mostly on "Flow" mods (i.e. mods of k€ cost), Major Industrial Problems, Major In-Service Problems, Modifications impacting Final Assembly Lines (FAL) in Toulouse, Hamburg, Alabama and Tianjin.

Tasks & accountabilities:
- Ensure accurate and complete configuration management data across various toolsets.
- Create end to end modification planning, with continuous monitoring of progress vs plan.
- Initiate and facilitate regular "drum beat" meetings with the multi-functional team(s) contributing to your mods.
- Achievement of maturity gates linked to the Aircraft Change Process, including;
- Assessment of modification drivers and change intent.
- Assessment of modification impacts, in terms of people (incl safety), manufacturing, material requirements, financial, schedule, etc.
- Creation and alignment (across the affected suppliers/Plant/FAL) of industrial planning, specifically point of embodiment and cutover.
- Provide regular updates of your modifications to various stakeholders, including at times presenting at transnational and senior management led meetings.
- Ensure Quality standards, specifically 'APQP' and 'PPV'.
- Maintain an active risk & opportunity register, leading risk mitigation actions if/when necessary.
- In the event of an abnormality and/or Quality escape, contribute to or lead multi-function teams through out of sequence work and/or recovery plans.
- Additionally, contribute to and at times lead multi-function teams through root cause analysis and lessons learnt, such as practical problem solving (PPS).
Required skills:
- Strong project management skills/experience, PMP certification would be highly desirable.
- Understanding of the Aircraft Change Process or similar, i.e. experience with configuration management in a complex manufacturing environment.
- Thus, an existing or previous user of tools such as; ACC2, ICC_ACP, DPDS would be highly desirable.
- And/or existing or previous delegations within 'CAIR', 'RFF' and/or 'CA reallocation' process(es) would be desirable.
- A technical understanding of the Wing design and manufacturing processes would be desirable.
- Thus, candidates with a technical degree (BEng/BSc) and or past experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality are desirable.
- An appreciation for material requirements planning (creation and cascade of demand) and/or master production scheduling would be beneficial, but not mandatory.
- Thus, an existing or previous user of SAP-APD would be beneficial.
