Job Description:

JJ Foodservice is looking for a passionate and friendly QHSE Administrator to be a part of our fast-paced QHSE Team by taking a proactive approach.

The perfect candidate will ensure compliance with the company's Health & Safety, Quality, Food Safety, and Environmental policies while having the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a salary of £26,000 per annum.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested and passionate about compliance and confident in communication at all levels.


Responsibilities include:

* Promoting and supporting continuous improvement based on Food Safety and Quality culture across all our sites.
* Conducting site inspections/audits, generating detailed reports for management review, and ensuring compliance with company, HSE, and Quality standards.
* Managing administrative duties related to customer complaints, accident reports, Halal certification, training records, investigation minutes, and supplier information, ensuring records are accurate and updated.
* Evaluating and inspecting new products to ensure adherence to customer specifications and regulatory standards.
* Analyzing product and process non-conformances, providing recommendations for corrective actions, including necessary modifications.


Qualifications and skills required:

* An honours degree in Food Science, Life Science, Health & Safety, or a closely related field, and/or a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a comparable role.
* A people-focused individual passionate about safety culture and behaviors.
* Ability to query and analyze data.
* Thoroughness and accuracy in all duties.
* Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
* Proactive problem-solving skills, acting decisively.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Authoritative decision-making after appropriate consideration.
* Effective priority setting and resource allocation.
* Clear and impactful communication skills, both verbal and written.
