Location: Brent, North West London
Start Date: After May Half Term (Summer Term)
Contract: Full-Time or Part-Time (Monday to Thursday if preferred)
Hours: 7:45am – 4:15pm (Term Time Only)
Pay: £95 to £115 per day (depending on experience)
A welcoming and well-established nursery setting in Brent is seeking a Nursery Nurse / Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team after May half term, with the opportunity to continue full-time into the next academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about Early Years education and is looking to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking setting. They are ideally seeking a Level 3 qualified practitioner, but are open to graduates or educators with the right attitude and commitment to developing within the setting.
There is also the potential for the successful educator to be supported in working towards Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) in the future.
The Role:
* Supporting children within a Nursery setting through play-based learning
* Assisting with early development in communication, social skills, and routines
* Creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for young learners
* Supporting with daily routines, transitions, and personal development
* Working closely with the EYFS team to deliver high-quality provision
* Being active, engaging, and hands-on throughout the school day
The Ideal Candidate:
* Level 3 Early Years qualification desirable (but not essential)
* Experience working with young children in a Nursery or Early Years setting
* Energetic, proactive, and willing to get fully involved in all aspects of the role
* Passionate about supporting early child development
* Committed to a long-term role with the potential to grow within the school
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
