Position Summary
Part‑time position of 30 hours per week. Shifts are Monday–Sunday, five shifts of 7 hours each (0700‑1300) and occasionally 1900‑0100 if required.
About the Unit
The unit has 34 beds divided into East and West wards, caring for male and female patients aged 16 and above. A dedicated Stroke Rehabilitation Unit (SRU) with a multi‑disciplinary team of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech/language therapists, dietitians and medical staff, supported by chest, heart and stroke nurses and care management.
Learning & Development
Robust induction programme and opportunities for skill development in caring for stroke patients. Candidates may progress in stroke‑specific areas to enhance patient care.
