An exciting position has arisen for an IT Analyst to join the CDS IT team. CDS develop the industry leading
CODAS
application which is a complete end to end ERP system designed to assist with the day-to-day running of an Energy and/or LPG business. More information can be found on

As part of the IT team, your key responsibilities will be to:
* Monitor and proactively maintain our IT infrastructure, including diagnosis and resolution of issues
* Liaise with manufacturers where required to facilitate timely support where a problem or question cannot be resolved in house
* Provide technical support and advice to members of staff and customers via telephone, email, remote access and in person
* Work on projects to research, test and deploy new hardware and software to address business needs, for both us and our customers
In addition, all teams within CDS are required to be flexible and adaptable to allow for the changing workload within the company. The IT team may be asked to take on other tasks when required and appropriate, including but not limited to:

* CODAS upgrades and patching
A period of acclimatisation and training will be necessary, all of which will be provided for the successful applicant.
Successful candidates must demonstrate flexibility and eagerness to adjust working hours and patterns to meet the needs of our customers and always see issues through to completion.
This role will require work out of hours when necessary to complete critical infrastructure tasks without impacting the business.
Essential requirements for the role:
* 2+ years working in a similar IT team/environment with the following experience:
Microsoft 365
Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD)
Microsoft Intune
Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server 2016 and up
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong sense of ownership and ability to follow tasks through to completion
* Flexibility to meet fluctuating business demand
* Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Proactive and flexible outlook
Desirable requirements for the role:
Experience within any of the following technologies would be beneficial but not essential:
* Microsoft management tools including Active Directory, Group Policy Management, WSUS, System Center
* Cloud platforms including Azure, AWS platform, Google Cloud
* Hypervisors including vSphere, Hyper-V
* Veeam Backup & Replication
* Remote Desktop Services and Citrix
* PowerShell
* Confluence, Jira
* Code version control tools including Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Github, Git
* Web server and proxies including Apache, IIS, NGINX, Tomcat
* PKI
* Databases including SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL
* Firewalls and other networking
