Veterinary Officer – Clinical & Operational Leadership Up to £100,000 • Hybrid Working Our client is seeking an experienced Veterinary Officer to provide clinical oversight, operational leadership, and strategic direction across their growing group of practices. About the Role As Veterinary Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring consistent clinical standards and operational excellence across multiple clinics. You’ll support and coach our vet teams, helping them to deliver exceptional care while driving performance and revenue. Working closely with our senior leadership team, you’ll combine on-the-ground understanding with strategic insight, guiding business decisions, analysing financial performance and reporting centrally on outcomes. The role offers flexibility, with time split between working from home, visiting clinics, and collaborating at our central office. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical oversight and maintain the highest standards of care across the group. Lead, support, and mentor clinical teams to promote professional development and best practice. Apply strong financial and commercial understanding to drive operational performance. Use data and insight to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Report centrally to the leadership team on clinical, operational, and financial performance. Ensure smooth collaboration between clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver shared goals. About You Qualified Vet Surgeon with extensive clinical experience. Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing people. Proven business acumen – ideally with experience managing or owning a veterinary business. Comfortable working with financial metrics and using them to guide decisions. A strategic thinker who can balance clinical integrity with commercial success.
