As a Senior Java Developer at Emergn, you’ll help us shape Emergn’s exciting future and play an important role in our growth.

We want you to:
1. Develop modern applications on Java and/or Kotlin, SpringBoot, and designing RESTful APIs.
2. Participate in planning and estimation activities;
3. Collaborate with the engineering team to design and launch new features;
4. Treat about the quality covering your code with unit tests;
5. Maintain code integrity and organization that delivers real business value.
You’re a perfect fit if you have:
6. 4+ years of experience with Java;
7. Solid proficiency with Spring Boot and designing RESTful APIs;
8. Relevant experience with AWS and No-SQL/Relational Databases;
9. Expertise in advanced topics like asynchronous processing, background threads, concurrency handling, analyzing bottlenecks & optimizing back-end services for performance;
10. Very good English skills – written and spoken.
Location requirement:
11. Although this position offers the possibility to work remotely, you have to be based in one of the following locations: Portugal, Latvia, Poland or Romania.
