Job Title: Senior Marketing Executive
Salary: £34,500 - £39,500 per annum
Location: Cambridge, Hybrid (expectation of 2 days per week in the office)
Contract: Full time, 12 month fixed term maternity cover
We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to join our busy Subject Marketing team in an exciting maternity cover role.
We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.
Responsibilities
* Planning and executing marketing campaigns to ensure that your products reach their target markets and meet sales/usage targets. Activities will include email marketing, social media, content creation, search marketing, advertising, and events
* Evaluating and reporting on campaigns using analytics, combined with customer sales and usage data
* Managing your subject budget
* Engaging in contact acquisition activities to grow internal database of marketing contacts
* Managing relationships with key internal and external business stakeholders, ensuring that there is clear two-way communication from product development through to marketing strategy
* Representation of the organisation at external events, including academic conferences and book launches, providing a professional, customer-facing profile for the business
Qualifications
* An experienced marketing professional with at least 2 years' relevant experience
* You will possess excellent written/verbal communication, copywriting, copyediting and proofreading skills
* You will be highly organised, adept at managing multiple demands/ deadlines, with a proven ability to think creatively and trouble-shoot
* You will possess exceptional delegation skills, an agile mindset and be highly adaptable to change
* You are comfortable working autonomously, with an ability to forge effective and collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders
* A professional marketing qualification is desirable
* Experience in the book publishing sector would also be advantageous
