Pay Rate: Starting from £14.76/hour, increasing to £15.97/hour inside the M25, with additional payments depending on location.
We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week for new colleagues, with options to work as few as 12 hours if preferred. Your shifts will be scheduled within your available hours, with 3 weeks' notice.
Role Overview
As a Shift Leader at Tesco, you'll support store operations, assist customers, and lead a team to ensure smooth daily activities. Your responsibilities include:
* Managing duty shifts and ensuring store standards
* Providing excellent customer service
* Coaching colleagues and giving feedback
* Supporting store safety and performance
* Leading by example and fostering a positive environment
Requirements: Must be 18 or over.
Availability
Available hours include:
* Sunday: 15:30 - 23:00
* Tuesday: 16:00 - 23:00
* Thursday: 09:00 - 16:30
* Friday: 16:30 - 23:00
* Saturday: 06:00 - 14:00
Additional Responsibilities
* Opening and closing the store
* Supporting seasonal and community events
* Maintaining store cleanliness and safety
* Providing excellent customer service and team support
