Across the data center industry – from deployment, through operations and maintenance, to decommissioning – Salute is the industry leader of delivering global data center services executed with precision. We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Planner to support the delivery of best-in-class service across our global portfolio of 180 data centre and critical environment contracts. Our Operational Services team provides full lifecycle support for critical assets - from planned and preventative maintenance to 24/7 emergency response, helpdesk and remote monitoring. In this role, you will coordinate Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive tasks and small works, ensuring all activities are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and in line with customer expectations. You will work closely with Technical and Operational teams to schedule resources, manage work orders through the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System), produce documentation, liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, and maintain strong client relationships. We’re looking for someone highly organised, customer-focused and confident in managing multiple tasks - from raising purchase orders to producing service reports and supporting KPI tracking. You’ll play a key part in improving processes, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring contractual and safety compliance. What we’re looking for Essential administrative experience, with exposure to Facilities Management or Critical Engineering environments considered highly desirable. Proven ability to plan and organise engineering maintenance activities, ideally within a critical or technical setting. Experience using CMMS, CAFM or similar maintenance planning systems is desirable. Confident in liaising with third-party suppliers and subcontractors to support service delivery. Strong contributor to team and departmental performance, with a keen customer focus. Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills, with a professional and confidential approach. Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with colleagues at all levels. Able to manage a varied workload, balancing competing priorities and responding quickly to urgent issues. Highly organised, methodical, and detail-oriented. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A proactive approach to learning, with a willingness to undertake further training for ongoing professional development.
