National Account Manager (Step-Up Role) – Branded FMCG | Manchester | Office-Based

Location: Manchester (full-time in-office)


Ideal for National Account Executives or Junior Commercial professionals ready to take the next step. This is a rare opportunity to step into a National Account Manager role with a fast-paced, branded food business that works with some of the most recognisable names in the UK grocery and foodservice space.


Based in Manchester, the business is growing fast, driven by a collaborative and commercially focused team. They’re now looking for someone with energy, curiosity, and commercial drive to help manage and grow key accounts. This is a genuine step-up opportunity for someone currently in a National Account Executive, Sales Executive, or Commercial Executive role within FMCG who’s ready to take ownership and accelerate their career.


The Role

You’ll take on day-to-day responsibility for key retail or foodservice accounts, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver results and drive growth. You’ll be part of a high-performing, close-knit commercial team, learning quickly and making an immediate impact.

* Manage customer relationships and support joint business planning
* Build and maintain promotional plans and sales forecasts
* Analyse performance data and provide insight-driven recommendations
* Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance
* Support product launches and in-store execution


What You’ll Bring

* 1–3 years of experience in a commercial or customer-facing FMCG role
* Confident working with data, forecasts, and promotional plans
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* A hands-on, proactive mindset and a willingness to learn quickly
* The ambition to grow into a senior commercial role
