Title - Construction Governance and Performance Manager
Location - National (Flexible base location anywhere in Great Britain, with national travel as required)

As a Construction Governance and Performance Manager you will play a key role in planning, coordinating and assuring complex construction and estate improvement programmes across a national portfolio. This is a senior role with real influence, focused on strengthening programme control, improving forecasting accuracy and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with business priorities.
Working closely with Construction Programme and Project Managers, you will provide strategic planning leadership across new build, refurbishment, building services engineering and estate improvement projects, from early feasibility through to handover and commissioning.
What will you do?
You will lead the development and management of fully integrated construction programmes across all RIBA stages, using internal project management systems and MS Project. This includes creating robust baseline schedules, managing change control, carrying out critical path and risk analysis, and ensuring programmes are realistic, resilient and aligned with cost, scope and operational requirements.
The role has a strong governance focus, providing planning assurance, producing clear reporting for senior stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement in planning processes, tools and standards. You will also manage and develop a small team, supporting value-for-money strategies and contributing to make-versus-buy decisions.
This is a nationally focused role requiring regular site presence, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and close alignment with safety, compliance and CDM 2015 requirements.
Please note, as a national role, you could be based from anywhere in Britain, however, nationwide travel is expected as part of the role. A full UK driving licence is essential.
