The Early Years Educator / Nursery Practitioner will work closely with colleagues and parents to meet individual learning and care needs, while maintaining strong safeguarding, health, and safety practices throughout the nursery. DUTIES Your duties as the Early Years Educator / Nursery Practitioner include: Child Development Support: Planning and delivering activities tailored to each childs stage of development and interests Key Person Responsibilities: Acting as a key worker for a group of children, maintaining accurate learning and development records Safeguarding Practice: Following safeguarding procedures to ensure childrens welfare, safety, and wellbeing at all times Parental Engagement: Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with parents and carers Team Collaboration: Working effectively with colleagues to support a positive, inclusive nursery environment Care Routines: Supporting personal care routines including meal times, toileting, and nappy changing Health and Safety: Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety across the nursery Record Keeping: Accurately recording observations, accidents, and relevant information in line with nursery procedures Flexibility and Support: Assisting with general nursery duties and attending training, meetings, and events as required CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one Good standard of written and spoken English Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures Ability to work effectively as part of a team DESIRABLE Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting Experience acting as a key person for children Confidence in building positive relationships with parents and carers NO AGENCIES PLEASE HOW TO APPLY To be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
