Position
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Band 6 Bladder and Bowel Nurse to join our friendly specialist bladder and bowel team. This part‑time role supports patients across community settings within Medway. The post holder will provide specialist assessment, treatment, education and ongoing management for patients with bladder and bowel conditions and play a key role in supporting catheter clinics.
Responsibilities
* Practise autonomously as an expert practitioner in the Bladder and Bowel Service, working collaboratively with Community Nursing and multidisciplinary partners.
* Lead the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients experiencing bladder, bowel and pelvic floor dysfunction.
* Provide operational and professional leadership to the Bladder and Bowel Team, including staff management, clinical supervision, workforce development, service improvement and clinical governance.
* Contribute strategically to ongoing service development, promoting innovation, best practice and compliance with local and national standards.
