Package Salary £80-90k Bonus (linked to KPIs and budget delivery) Full use of resort wellness, spa, health club and F&B facilities Ongoing professional development and growth opportunities A genuine chance to make your mark on a resort with national recognition The Role As Hotel General Manager, you will provide visionary leadership and operational excellence across all areas from hospitality and wellness to F&B, sales, and brand development. Reporting directly to the Chairman and supported by a senior leadership team across 9 key departments, you will ensure the business continues to grow commercially while delivering a world-class guest experience. Your Key Responsibilities: Drive commercial performance, P&L, EBITDA and KPIs Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing cross-functional leadership team Champion an exceptional and personalised guest journey across all touch-points Oversee operations across hotel rooms, self-catering apartments, restaurants, spa, gym, events, and health club Lead on strategic marketing, revenue management and creative brand delivery Use innovation, tech and AI to enhance efficiency, revenue and guest satisfaction Deliver well-managed capex projects with design and budget discipline Embed a positive workplace culture with strong staff engagement and retention Requirements A standout leader with a track record of progression within the UK leisure resort/hotel sector Experience as a General Manager or Resort Director in a complex, multi-outlet operation Hands-on experience across all departments including spa, F&B, and wellness Strong commercial acumen with evidence of budget delivery, margin improvement, and KPI management An inspirational and emotionally intelligent leader who leads from the front Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for developing creative hospitality products Able to switch seamlessly between high-level strategy and operational detail Previous success in boutique or independently owned premium resorts Experience building a distinctive hospitality brand and tone of voice Background in wellness, spa or lifestyle-led leisure environments If you would be interested in discussing in more detail, send your CV today!
