Links Medical Practice is seeking a proactive, well organised, motivated Practice Manager to join our team.
The successful candidate should have excellent business acumen and proven skills in leadership, HR, finance and IT. You will need to have business management experience, including direct line management of staff and day to day operational oversight, as well as being an excellent communicator and having strong customer service skills.
This is a hands‑on role, and we are looking for someone who can take on the full scope of Practice Manager responsibilities from the outset. A good understanding of how general practice operates is essential, including the financial and contractual aspects of the role. This includes an understanding of how GP practices are funded and how this impacts decision‑making.
Experience in the health sector, particularly primary care, would be an advantage. However, candidates from other sectors will be considered where they can demonstrate transferable skills and a clear understanding of how general practice operates, including its financial and contractual context.
The post is full time (37.5hrs). The salary is £44,000 to £50,000 dependent upon experience. The start date is June/July 2026, but we would be prepared to wait for the ideal candidate depending upon circumstances.

Links Medical Practice is a forward thinking, dynamic, well established training practice based in Aberdeen City. The practice is located in the pleasant tree‑lined surroundings of the old City Hospital site, with ample parking, close to the beach and city centre amenities.
We have an excellent team, including six GP partners, two salaried GPs, advanced nurse practitioner, pharmacists, first contact physiotherapist, and a very experienced practice nursing team. We are also an approved training practice which takes GP trainees, foundation doctors and medical students.
