What you'll do:
As a Legal Counsel, you will play a crucial role within our client's established and friendly in-house legal team. You will be responsible for managing commercial work, including complex drafting and negotiation with external suppliers and clients.
Your role will also involve ensuring regulatory compliance in key areas, fostering a culture of trust with both internal and external clients. You will have the opportunity to lead or assist in negotiations relating to client contracts, supporting the Legal and Compliance Director, as well as assisting in the supervision of other solicitors and paralegals within the team.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Legal Counsel position will bring significant experience, ideally having spent 3/4 + years post-qualification. Experience within a well-known or national law firm would be preferred, along with some in-house experience within a corporate business. The successful candidate will demonstrate proven drafting and negotiation skills. An ability to work autonomously when required, but also collaboratively as part of a team is essential.
