Job Summary
Bradford Council is seeking to appoint Youth Support Workers who will support on the delivery of the Youth Offer as part of an area team, working multiple evenings each week. GRADE: JNC 5 - Unqualified and JNC 7-10 Qualified.

Main Responsibilities
•Build and maintain positive relationships with young people, supporting their personal and social development.
•Design and deliver engaging youth activities, projects, and events aligned with the Youth Service framework.
•Empower young people to achieve, gain accreditation, and have a voice within their community.
•Contribute to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of youth work, ensuring safeguarding, equality, and health & safety standards are met.
Essential Skills
•Fluency In English
•Uses a range of basic IT packages
•Communication Skills
•Demonstrate knowledge of working with the issues, which are important and impact on the lives of young people
•To deliver the skills to enable young people to work effectively in groups
•To work as part of a team to deliver youth work
