Role: Pharmacist (Rotational) Location: The Wellington Hospital, London Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday with participation in the weekend and Bank Holiday rota Contract Type: Permanent Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience, with excellent benefits including private healthcare We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and clinically driven Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy team at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated “Good” by the CQC. This role is ideally suited to a registered pharmacist with some prior hospital experience who is eager to develop specialist expertise across a wide range of clinical areas, including Cardiology, Medical and Surgical specialities, Antimicrobial Stewardship, and Critical Care. The Wellington is home to specialist units such as ICU, Gynaecology, CCU/HDU, Cardiac Treatment, and Digestive Health. Joining our team will provide you with invaluable exposure to these high‑acuity environments, alongside the opportunity to collaborate with leading consultants and multidisciplinary experts. In this rotational role, you will help deliver a safe, high‑quality and patient‑centred pharmacy service across the hospital. You will champion effective medicines management, supporting the safe use of medicines, facilitating patients’ own drugs, and providing clear clinical advice to healthcare colleagues. You will also deliver clinical pharmacy support to designated wards and care areas, gaining experience across a broad range of specialties including orthopaedic and spinal surgery, colorectal surgery, gastroenterology, hepatobiliary medicine, cardiology and critical care. In addition, you will have opportunities to enrol onto a clinical diploma to further develop your clinical practice and expand your professional scope.
