Live in Couples Job in Rutland – Cottage accommodation - £70,000+ GPA
Our client is looking for an experienced Couple to look after an 8 bedroom property on a large estate in Rutland. The owners are an active couple who are in their 80s and who have employed staff for many years. This role will be to provide additional support looking after the house and grounds. They also employ gardeners and a maintenance person who work at the house and on the wider estate.
Duties to include:
1. Keeping the house clean and tidy to a high standard
2. Laundry and ironing
3. Packing and unpacking suitcases and wardrobe management
4. Light cooking, preparing a simple breakfast / light lunch on occasions
5. Running errands and shopping
6. Driving duties and looking after household vehicles
7. Assisting with some maintenance gardening and property maintenance
8. Pool maintenance
9. Security of the estate
Start date: Summer 2026
Accommodation: A separate 2 bed cottage. Well behaved pets might be considered for the right couple. Sorry no dependants. All utility bills paid by the employer.
Driving: both need to be confident drivers
Working week: Full-time role 5 days a week to include some weekend work (especially driving).
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
