In the absence of the HR Manager, you will be the most senior HR person on site. Whoever is lucky enough to get this role will have varietyand everyday will be different! The key focus of the senior HR Advisor role is to provide a full HR Advisory service On a day to day basis as the Senior HR Advisor you will - Manage employee Relations cases, Investigations, manage absence, long term sickness issues, grievances, disciplinaries up dismissal. Provide a full generalist HR service to the business includingengagement & performance management, there is lot to do here, including managing long term sickness and liaising with occupational health. Develop relationships withline managers and help them become better managers, more confident, more empowered. Provide advice, guidance and coaching to managers on following best practice, processes and procedures Keep up to date with employment legislation, implement any changes to policies and procedures as required Analyse and compile management information Identify opportunities for change and improvement This is an exciting and hugely varied role! Skills needed: You willhave worked in a fast-paced environment and skilled in all generalist areas of HR supporting a sizable numbers. Ideallyyou’ll have worked within Manufacturing, logistics, Care, Retail - somewhere pacey Extensive employee relations experience, managing high case numbers is essential. As the HR Advisor you will need to demonstrate strong HR experience of hands-on HR and ER advising, within a fast-paced environment.
