Requirements & Experience
* Qualification : Level 3 in childcare or Early Years Workforce (or equivalent : Diploma in Playgroup practice, NNEB, NVQIII).
* Childcare Experience : 2 years (required), with at least 3 years preferred in the full description.
* Knowledge : Extensive knowledge of EYFS and child development.
* Skills : Excellent written and oral English communication, ability to plan workloads and set priorities, experience in a multi-cultural environment, and experience working in a team / exercising leadership.
Main Duties
* Regularly review, develop, and monitor the curriculum and activities.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of children, maintaining appropriate records.
* Work as part of a team to deliver nurturing / recreational activities.
* Implement effective health and safety procedures.
* Assess, record, and report on children's development, progress, and attainment.
* Promote positive relationships between all adults and children.
* Ensure parents / carers are well informed of their children's progress.
* Monitor children for potential language delays or special needs and discuss concerns with the SENCO.
* Comply with all OFSTED requirements and nursery policies.
