The Sales Support Specialist will assist the sales team in qualifying opportunities, handling inbound sales inquiries, assisting with contractual administration during procurement, and supporting various administrative tasks to ensure smooth sales operations. This role is designed to develop into a direct sales executive role supporting SMB customer deals. This is not a cold-calling role.
Responsibilities:
* Qualify sales opportunities by assessing customer needs and requirements.
* Identify and prioritise high-potential leads to ensure efficient use of sales resources.
* Handle inbound sales enquiries promptly and professionally.
* Provide accurate information about products and services to prospective customers.
* Conduct research on potential customers to identify key decision-makers and relevant business information.
* Maintain an up-to-date database of customer information and sales leads.
* Triage incoming enquiries to determine the appropriate course of action.
* Assign enquiries to relevant sales team members or departments.
* Respond to emails and customer enquiries professionally and timely.
* Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and address additional questions or concerns.
* Assist with administrative tasks, including preparing reports, maintaining records, and managing sales documentation.
* Support the completion of customer procurement forms.
* Perform ad hoc tasks to facilitate sales team operations.
Candidate Requirements:
* Recent graduate with interest in technology and sales.
* Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proactive attitude with a focus on process improvement.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree level education.
* Passion for learning.
* Experience in a customer-facing role (desirable).
* Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs (desirable).
