Pipe fitter.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pipe Fitter to join our team. The Pipe Fitter will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems across various settings including commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of blueprints and piping specifications, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
* Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools or machines.
* Assemble and install a variety of piping systems (e.g., water, steam, gas, hydraulic).
* Secure pipes to structures using brackets, clamps, and other tools.
* Test piping systems for leaks using pressure gauges or other testing equipment.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
* Follow all safety regulations and procedures on job sites.
* Collaborate with plumbers, welders, and other construction professionals.
* Perform inspections and repairs as needed to maintain system functionality.
