Estates and Facilities Business Performance Manager (Band 8a) – £57,528 – £64,750 per annum
37.5 hours per week – Pride House, Basildon
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and operational leadership for estates performance, data, lifecycle planning, and financial oversight.
* Design and maintain integrated performance frameworks and dashboards covering PPM compliance, backlog, lifecycle, contracts, and costs.
* Lead development and management of the Trust’s asset register and lifecycle replacement programme.
* Prioritise high‑risk, business‑critical assets in collaboration with the Head of Estates, Backlog Maintenance, and Contracts & Assurance teams.
* Provide financial control, options appraisals, and business cases for estates investment and efficiency schemes.
* Lead and support service improvement, backlog reduction, and sustainability projects.
* Supply expert estates performance and risk advice into Trust‑wide strategies, audits, inspections, and incident reviews.
* Line‑manage operational staff – Estates PPM Officer, Admin Manager, Helpdesk Manager – and collaborate with finance, compliance, and backlog teams.
