We’re looking for a T&D Technician to join our Test & Development team, working at the heart of the components and systems that drive on‑track performance. In this role, you’ll support the build, testing and validation of car components, contributing directly to reliability, performance and continuous improvement across the team. Key Responsibilities As a T&D Technician, you’ll work across a wide range of test activities and engineering processes. Your responsibilities will include: Performing proof testing and legality checks of car components to defined standards. Conducting development work on components to support performance improvements. Building and executing T&D tests, including sensor setup, data logging and post‑processing of test data. Digitally recording all critical test information and integrating results into company systems. Safely operating test benches, equipment and associated software packages. Supporting test requests from engineers across the business and keeping key stakeholders updated. Maintaining high standards of workshop organisation, safety and continuous improvement. Managing your own workload effectively while meeting tight deadlines. This is a varied and dynamic role, perfect for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, teamwork and hands‑on engineering. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise We’re looking for someone technically capable, proactive and eager to contribute to a high‑performance environment. You’ll ideally have: Strong working knowledge of assembly techniques for small and large‑scale test assemblies. Understanding of car components and their performance and reliability requirements. Desire to continue developing skills in structural proof testing, durability and systems sign‑off. Excellent IT skills in PLM systems, Microsoft tools, ATLAS, System Monitor and data‑logging software. Strong analytical and methodical thinking with a structured approach to tasks. Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering or technical field. Ability to stay calm under pressure and deliver results to tight timescales.
