Do you want to work for a leading manufacturer that has been established the local area for a number of years. Due to site investment and development, they are looking for an experienced multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join their close knit team.
Role & responsibilities of a maintenance engineer:
Provide electrical & mechanical support & repairs for all production equipment & site services
Fixing production machinery, industrial processing equipment, conveyors, packaging machinery, automation & controls, PLC's, site services & facilities
Supporting with project work - new machine & production line installs
PPM's, electrical & mechanical fault finding, problem solving, machine upgrades
Knowledge, skills & experience need to be a maintenance engineer:
Ideally be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer - confident both electrically & mechanically
Apprenticeship trained or a time-served engineering with mechanical & electrical qualifications
Previously worked in FMCG or packaging manufacturing
Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong electrical & mechanical fault finding & problem solving skills
PLC - electrical fault finding - desirable
Experience of carrying out CI projects, new machine installations
