If so, this role offers the opportunity to shape the learning and capability agenda for the entire Society.As our new Learning, Capability & Development Senior Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in designing how we develop the skills and behaviours our colleagues and leaders need today and the future capabilities that will help us grow, perform, and evolve.You'll be a strategic thinker, a strong influencer, and a hands-on learning expert who loves creating development that makes a real difference.What you'll be doingShaping Future CapabilityIdentifying current and emerging skills needed across the organisation to drive future performance and growth.Designing capability strategies and development pathways that equip colleagues and leaders for what's ahead.Leadership & Management DevelopmentCreating and overseeing leadership and management development that strengthens capability from aspiring leaders to experienced managers.Partnering with senior leaders to shape a consistent, modern leadership approach across the Society.Delivering High-Impact DevelopmentDesigning learning experiences, frameworks, and programmes that uplift colleague performance and unlock potential.Ensuring learning is practical, relevant, and aligned to real business needs.Using insight, data, and business intelligence to measure impact and continuously improve.Driving a Culture of LearningChampioning continuous learning, curiosity, and high performance.Influencing leaders and stakeholders to embed learning into day-to-day work.What do we need from you?Strong experience in learning, organisational capability, or leadership development roles.The ability to identify future skills and translate them into modern, practical development solutions.Confidence in partnering with senior leaders and shaping strategic priorities.Deep understanding of adult learning, behavioural development, and organisational performance.A passion for helping people grow - and the creativity and curiosity to make it happen.Who Are We?Not just another building society.
