Why this role is special As Senior Ecologist, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference. Your expertise will directly influence major development proposals, regeneration projects, and our long-term planning policies. With Wrexham’s Investment Zone opportunities, you’ll also have the freedom to explore innovative, creative ways of solving ecological and planning challenges, helping us deliver sustainable growth without compromising environmental value. The Role In this role you will be advising Development Management Officers about developments affecting ecology and supporting the preparation of planning policy and guidance. The role will also involve consultation and liaison with other Council departments, applicants, agents and other external organisations. About You To be considered for the role, you must have a recognised qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent experience as well as hold a valid driving license. Experience in planning is essential. This role allows for a combination of home and office working. You will also be required to undertake site visits.
