Social Care Worker – Supported Living
Live and work in Shetland with Living & Working in Shetland. This role supports individuals to live independently and achieve their goals in a compassionate, person‑centred environment.
What You’ll Do
Provide high‑quality, person‑centred care. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support service users and families, focusing on empowerment, participation, dignity and respect. Play a vital role in supporting individuals to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.
What We’re Looking For
 * A caring, compassionate individual passionate about supporting people to achieve positive outcomes.
 * A friendly nature with a sense of humour, who loves making genuine connections with people.
 * Must be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) when they begin in post.
 * Preferred candidates will join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check before a formal offer is made.
 * Permanent part‑time post – 28.0 hours per week, 52.18 weeks per year.
 * Grade G/H, inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance £1.4808 per hour.
 * Full driving licence highly desirable. Ability to travel within the service area.

Salary and Hours
Rate inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance £1.4808 per hour. 28.0 hours per week, 52.18 weeks per year.
