The Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Service is looking for a Business Support Officer to join the team to provide a high quality administrative support (organising meetings, managing inboxes and circulating relevant papers for meetings) for Independent Reviewing Officers.

About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have…
The service is responsible for safeguarding children, young people and their families and recommending cohesive plans to support them so the ability to interpret complex processes and deal with sensitive information is essential.
The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of Windows & Microsoft packages (including Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet).
Previous experience of using a client database would be desirable but training will be given.
An understanding of the requirement for confidentiality is essential as are good customer care skills and a confident telephone manner.
Good organisational skills, excellent administrative skills flexibility and the ability to prioritise and work independently and as part of a team are also required for the role.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate high level communication skills (both written and verbal) in order to effectively interact with colleagues, professionals, families and external agencies.
The role will be busy and varied; therefore a flexible and proactive approach with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines is essential.
You must be willing to undertake relevant training to support you within the role and willing to work flexibly to meet the ever changing needs of the service
