Events Manager
Cheltenham / Tewkesbury | Full-time | Flexible hours (including evenings and weekends)

A fast-growing and dynamic vintage retail business is seeking a hands‑on Events Manager to take ownership of its event operations. This is a key role offering the opportunity to lead and deliver a wide range of events, from pop‑ups to large‑scale markets, while playing an important part in the continued growth of the business. Working closely with the wider team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing events from start to finish, ensuring a seamless and successful experience for both customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning and coordination of events, markets and pop-ups
* Managing logistics including transport, set‑up and pack‑down of stock and equipment
* Recruiting, organising and leading event staff
* Overseeing on‑site sales and handling payments
* Ensuring high standards of customer experience and team performance
* Managing stock movement, control and restocking
* Organising staff payments following events
* Maintaining organisation and efficiency across all event operations
About You
* Full UK driving licence
* Comfortable driving vans and undertaking physical tasks such as loading and set‑up
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills
* Confident leading and motivating a team
* Proactive, reliable and able to work under pressureStrong work‑ethic with a hands‑on approach
* Good numeracy skills for handling payments and basic admin
Desirable Experience
* Previous experience within events, retail or logistics
* Interest in vintage or second‑hand clothing
