POST TITLE: Marketing Manager
HOURS: 37½ hours per week (Full-time).
LOCATION: 143 Malone Road, Belfast.
Hybrid working may be appropriate following an induction period.
Full driving licence and travel will be required to fulfil the role.
Out of hours working will be required on occasion.

Construction Futures, launched in 2024, was established by construction employers, through the Construction Employers Federation, along with the employee representatives from the Unite and GMB Unions.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The purpose of this role is to further develop and deliver a comprehensive marketing strategy that enhances the profile and impact of Construction Futures and supports the company's strategic goals. The Marketing Manager will lead on branding, campaigns, digital marketing, event promotion, and stakeholder communications, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms and supporting the growth of our initiatives in Northern Ireland.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
* This role requires leadership, creativity, proactive planning, excellent written and visual communication skills, and an ability to translate complex ideas into accessible, engaging content.
* You must be comfortable leading, developing and executing marketing campaigns across various channels including print, digital and social media.
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to take the initiative, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
* Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, analytics, and content management systems.
* Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimise marketing strategies effectively.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
* Experience: A relevant degree or equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a marketing, communications, or brand management role.
* Strategic Marketing: Proven experience in developing and executing integrated marketing and communications strategies that align with organisational goals.
* Content Creation and Management: Demonstrated ability to create and manage high-quality marketing materials including digital content, promotional materials, and publications. Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools for in-house design work.
* Digital Skills: Strong knowledge of social media management, website CMS platforms, email marketing tools, and digital analytics.
* Communication: Outstanding written, visual, and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and strong brand awareness.
* Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
* Sectoral Knowledge: An understanding of the construction, education, or skills development sectors would be an advantage.
* CRM Systems: Experience with CRM systems to support marketing automation, stakeholder engagement, and lead generation activities.
* Public Relations: Experience managing PR activities, media relations, or working with external PR agencies.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
* Marketing Strategy: Lead the further development and implementation of the Construction Futures marketing strategy. Ensure consistent application of the Construction Futures brand across all materials and communications.
* Campaign Delivery: Plan and deliver targeted marketing campaigns to promote Construction Futures initiatives and industry opportunities, including digital, social media, and print channels.
* Content Management: Manage, maintain, and update the organisation’s website and social media channels, ensuring the delivery of engaging and relevant content, while coordinating with external consultants as required.
* Event Promotion: Support the promotion of events, projects, and programmes through marketing campaigns, collateral development, and media engagement.
* Reporting and Analysis: Track, analyse, and report on marketing performance metrics to inform ongoing improvements.
* Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring value for money and cost control.
